Lana Robla is a project started by Spanish textile artist Aitor Saraiba with his neighbour Josito. It aims to collect as much wool as possible in the Valles Pasiegos region in Spain, and save it from being discarded into landfill as farmers struggle to sell it. Lana Robla works with wool from different sheep breeds from producers all over this region, to produce a yarn that gives this wool a second life.
This yarn can be knitted together with others for different textures.
