[BUZZ RICKSON'S "BR12247" COAT, MAN'S COMBAT TROPICAL]
This is the Buzz Rickson's Fatigue Jacket.
Commonly known as the "Jungle Fatigue," the official name is the "Tropical Combat Uniform," and it was adopted and issued during the Vietnam War in the early 1960s as a field uniform for tropical areas.
The material used is cotton poplin, which is lightweight and easy to dry, in consideration of the tropical climate. It is an improved version of the World War II parachute coat, and is generally divided into three types: early, mid, and late. The most distinctive feature of the early model (first model) is the buttons exposed from the pocket flaps.
This is a reprint of the early model with epaulettes on the shoulders, exposed buttons on the pockets, and a size adjustment tab on the waist.
The material is cotton poplin for high humidity and high temperature. The material is cotton poplin, which is a relatively thin fabric used for shirts, but it is dense, flexible, and strong.
It is also a material that absorbs moisture and dries quickly. The chest pocket with a pen slot is slanted to make it easy to insert your hand.
Although this item is classified as a jacket, it can be worn like a shirt. It is an item that can be used as both light outerwear and innerwear for coats.
